Modernization of Tatra T3: new project Informbusiness
Informbusiness is working on a project for the deep modernization of the Tatra T3 tram car, integrating its own modern technologies of power electronics and electric transport. As part of the project, the existing platform is being re-equipped to operate as a battery-powered rail vehicle, capable of being operated without a permanent connection to the overhead network. The goal of the project is to create a modern autonomous vehicle capable of reaching speeds of up to 75 km/h and providing a range of up to 400 km on a single charge. The implementation of the project will demonstrate the capabilities of Informbusiness's modern electrical technologies as applied to existing railway rolling stock and open up new opportunities for passenger transportation on the railway.
